Can Wii talk?

So...it's been a while since I've blogged. It's been a busy couple of weeks! To be honest, I can't exactly remember what made them so busy, it just seems like the time slipped away. There were a couple of dentist and vet appointments, a haircut or two, a yard sale, and some family over for visits thrown in for good measure. Also, we recently got a Wii. This has been occupying most of our down time. As you may know, the Nintendo Wii is a video game...an interactive video game. This means that instead of just simply pressing a button with your thumb to play tennis, you actually have to swing a racket, or game controller! The game came with Wii sports, which consists of tennis, bowling, golf, and baseball. In addition to that, we also have the Wii Fit. This consists of yoga, strength training, aerobics, and balance games. You can also set fitness goals and track them on a calendar. It's really fun and the girls LOVE it! For Father's Day, I bought David Wii Play...on this you can play a variety of games including table tennis, pool, fishing and target shooting. The girls really like to fish! For Dave's birthday this past Wednesday, I bought him Guitar Hero. He LOVES it! As a matter of fact, he's playing now as I type this. He's already on to the "Medium" setting whilst I sit contently on Easy for now. I think I've played maybe 8-10 songs so far...I think David has already played hundreds! It's really hard to break away from!

I don't really have any exciting news to share....I just felt as though I needed to update. I don't have much going on in the next week or so...I'm hoping to do a more thorough update soon. Ta ta for now!

Talking underwater....

We often joke that Audrey is a "true blonde". Once again, she has proven it to be true. Yesterday, while out in the pool with my mom she asked Nanaw if she heard her talking underwater. Mom of course says no. So, Audrey says to watch. She goes underwater, talks and then comes back up. She says, "Nanaw, did you see those bubbles?? That's when I was talking." To which Mom replies, "What did you say?" Then, the TRUE blonde of the family says, "I don't know...when I talk under water it makes me sound funny." I guess she only knows what she's saying when she can hear it clearly.

Gotta love a blonde!!
